Broadband for America

Description: The goal of this workshop is to consider some of the ideas that would address the congressional goals but that do not fit neatly into other workshops, in part because the ideas cross so many different topics. The workshop will also be an opportunity to consider some of the ideas that came up in earlier workshops but that deserve particular additional attention. In addition, this workshop will be a forum for considering the impact of broadband on the Latino Community and the developments over time period that is important for the United States reclaiming and maintaining its leadership in broadband. Moderated by Jose Luis Rodriguez, LISTA Chair.

Techlatino2030 - Developing the Next Generation of Latino Leadership

Description: Leadership is a lifelong learning endeavor that requires following your dreams and making them come true. It involves "giving" to help others. It includes: Coaching, Directing, Delegating and Collaborating with others for a productive outcome.  A leader must have a real passion for people and is willing to advocate for the cause of a vision. The future of our community is to develop the next generation of leaders to pass the torch to.  Insightful information will be discussed. This Panel discussion will have a blend of some of today’s most dynamic leaders in the country. Here they will share what skills must be developed to be a leader in any industry. Moderated by Robert Abreu, LISTA NYC President
